ImageStretcher stretches and crops images on your device. Opening a file — or several files — to stretch, crop, or download does not send them to us. When you leave or refresh the page, previews are cleared unless you already saved a download to your device.

If you paste or type a public image URL, we fetch that address once so the image can load in your browser. We do not store the file or the URL. After it loads, stretch, crop, compress, and convert still run on your device. AI Expand and Remove Object or Text still send a temporary smaller copy only when you use those tools.

If you use AI Image Expander (/ai-image-expander), a temporary smaller copy of your image is sent to our servers so AI can fill the new edges. That copy is used only for the request and is not kept on our servers afterward. We may keep light usage counters to prevent abuse. The AI service processes the image under its own terms. Free usage limits may change. Paid plans are on the Pricing page.

If you use Remove Object from Image or Remove Text from Image, a temporary smaller copy of your image (and the area you brushed) is sent to our servers so AI can fill that patch. That copy is used only for the request and is not kept on our servers afterward. We may keep light usage counters to prevent abuse. The AI service processes the image under its own terms. Free usage limits may change. Paid plans are on the Pricing page.

Share link is optional. Only if you choose it do we receive a copy of your stretched image so we can show it on a public page. That copy includes a small ImageStretcher.io mark in the corner, and the file may also note our site address. Anyone with the link can open it. Shared images are public for now, with no set end date (we may change this later; we do not currently remove them on a schedule). We do not keep a copy without our mark. Downloading from the tool stays on your device and does not use Share link.

If you use Send feedback, or request a missing stretch template from Select Template, we store your message, the category you pick, and optional reply email, plus light debug context (page path, browser user agent, and app version). We use this only to understand and improve ImageStretcher. You can leave email blank and still send anonymously.

If your browser language is not already supported, we may show a short poll asking whether you want ImageStretcher in that language. One vote is stored per network address. We keep a hashed identifier of that address, the language code, yes or no, and optionally the country code from the network path — not the raw address. Your browser also stores a local voted flag so the poll does not appear again on this device; it does not include your address. We use this only to decide which languages to add next.

If you are using a translated version of the site (French, German, Italian, or Japanese), we may show a short poll asking whether that language is clear enough. We store the language, yes or no, optionally the country code from the network path, and the time. We do not use a hashed network address to limit votes. Your browser stores a local voted flag so the poll does not appear again on this device. We use this only to improve translations.

We may show a short poll asking whether you want batch upload (several images at once). We store the language of the page you were on (English, French, German, Italian, or Japanese), yes or no, optionally the country code from the network path, and the time. We do not use a hashed network address to limit votes. Your browser stores a local voted flag so the poll does not appear again on this device. We use this only to decide whether to build batch upload.

If you create an account or sign in, we store your name, email address, email verification status, and session data (including cookies) so you can stay signed in. You may sign in with email and password or with Google OAuth. We send verification and password-reset emails from noreply@imagestretcher.io when needed. Stretch, Crop, and Compress do not require an account. You can try AI Expand, Remove Object from Image, and Remove Text from Image without an account; sign in for a monthly allowance.

If you buy a Pro plan or AI credits, payment is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer id and subscription status so we can apply credits to your account. We do not store full card numbers.

We do not sell your personal data. Stretch and download stay on your device unless you explicitly use Share link, or you load an image from a URL (we fetch it once and do not keep it). AI Expand, Remove Object from Image, and Remove Text from Image briefly send a temporary copy of your image so AI can fill new edges or a brushed patch.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product or legal changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when we do.
